Two cats, neither of which are wonderful. We do have a wonderful dog,
however.

just a chance for me to understand your priorities and goals as an

member or alternate, issues you see that we should address, things
that you've seen tried before and worked (or tried before and

I've done these discussions before on previous boards and found they
helped me a lot in spotting opportunities for consensus and action,
and avoiding landmines. I don't promise miracles but I think some of
the contentiousness in the past two weeks has stemmed from us being
new with each other and figuring out how we tick and what we care
about. I treat the discussion as off-the-record and confidential, if
     that makes a difference.
In the next four weeks I'm already scheduled to be in Chicago, New
Hampshire, New Mexico, and Los Angeles, but will be adding more
     trips.
Let me know off list if you'd be amenable to me setting something up
with you. And if this isn't your thing, no worries.
