I read the email from Starchild, and appreciate the kind and generous
offer that's been extended from Ernest and Donna Hancock. I've also
read through the other exchanges regarding this topic, and would like to
add my perspective. I have asthma. As such, I'm careful about where I
go, as air quality can negatively affect my breathing. I also have
allergies, and some animals and other environmental aspects can cause
either, an asthma attack, or other allergic reactions.
While I do attend gatherings at private residences, both indoor and
outdoor, I do so with the knowledge that if I leave, I'm not missing
anything important. (social gatherings, etc.) But, an LNC meeting is
LP business, and I have an obligation to Region 3, which includes
attending LNC meetings. I don't want to be in a situation where I'd
need to miss or even curtail, an LNC meeting due to the environment
(Indoor or outdoor) It's possible others on the LNC, LP members, or
guests, who may wish to attend an LNC, have similar health concerns. Out
of consideration of my own health, and that of others, I'd not be in
favor of an outdoor meeting, or one at a private residence.
