As context for our new colleagues, there is a section of endnotes at the
end of the policy manual that explain how certain of our policies relate to
other relevant documents, such as RONR and the bylaws.

With the bylaws now updated, I was able to determine whether any policy
manual cross-references to the bylaws needed updating.

This year's bylaw amendments warrant updating policy footnote #48
(referenced in Policy Manual Section 2.05.5), due to the re-worked bylaw
wording on sustaining membership.

During the 2016 convention, an article of the bylaws was deleted, and it
necessitated updating lots of policy cross-references. During my review
this year, though, I noticed two other footnotes which I missed getting
updated after the 2016 convention, specifically footnotes #44 and #45 (both
referenced in PM Section 2.03.15) which should have been updated to
reference 2016-re-numbered bylaw article 6.6, rather than 2014-numbered
bylaw article 7.6.

We can easily address all three at the same time.

I seek co-sponsors to amend the Policy Manual footnotes as follows:

44 Authorized by Bylaw Article 7.6*6.6*.

45 Authorized by Bylaw Article 7.6*6.6*.

48 Qualifications for sustaining membership are defined by Bylaw Articles 4.3
and 4.5*4.4*.
