[Lnc-business] Mitch Daniels column in The Washington Post

Change is always difficult particularly in the transition and no solution
is perfect.

One could take those same arguments - and the state does - and argue for
trading away safety for freedom.

Because freedom ya know has a dangerous toxicity level like water??

No. No it doesn’t.

These same arguments are used each day to violate our rights.

I weep no tears that transparency makes our overlords uncomfortable.

It takes a culture and attitude change on all sides - including the
observers who are always looking for a gotcha statement that their own
lives would never survive.
