If the LNC desires this I could set something up, should only take me an hour. Although I believe any official party asset (if we desired for it to be an official party asset) should be under the perview of the IT committee, perhaps a subdomain under lp.org, (ala, discussion.lp.org, etc). I for one am okay with this sort of accessory to communication, as I know many who follow the LNC list would prefer only the most relevant discussions to be sent to their inbox.

Further on phone forums you can set access levels so if there was say
some reason for executive session discussion that we did not want
public (for a variety of reasons - legal for example) we could restrict
viewing access to just that area.
I'm talking basic early 2000s web programs here.
I don't mind assisting and or doing research to figure it out but I
have tried to set these thing up in the past and it is beyond my

only do basic web design. If want to stick with email, ok, however it
is clunky and difficult to capture the true flow of conversation
sometimes.
I strongly believe forums, php or otherwise, might be a really, really
good option for us. Old fashioned, sure but effective. Forums literally
emerged in order to help organizations not email so much and to help
facilitate easily viewable discussion. We should all be somewhat
familiar with how they work already as well which is another plus.
