This Friday, Cato Institute is set to release its periodic "Freedom in
the 50 States" report, cataloguing 230 different variables in each state
to rank who is most freedom-friendly in the areas of fiscal, regulatory,
personal, economic, litigation, land, marriage, education, occupational
licensing, victimless crime, health, labor, alcohol, asset forfeiture,
gambling, tobacco, gun, cannabis, cable, and criminal justice policy.

Aside from the data being interesting, candidates may find useful
talking points, platform points of emphasis in this report, or hooks for
media attention or op-eds. It may be worth forwarding to interested
parties in your states.
