There is really no such thing as an “official” LNC page asset for officer/representatives, I personally think its fine if the pages are required to be professional profiles specifically for the position and not personal pages. It would be more relevant for the people following instead of intimate personal profiles and sending a friend request. I don’t think we should require that the Staff or the Libertarian Party own the page as an asset, it should be up to the representative or officer to curate their own content how they see fit.

Joe,
You have an LNC At-Large page. You made it, but it's not an"official"
page. Caryn Ann has an LNC Secretary Page. She made it, but it's not
an "official" page. Others have done the same, and made pages, but
none of those pages are official, as they're created and controlled by
individuals, and aren't LP owned. (Using you two as examples of having
pages, not implying either of you have questionably content.)
The thing is, that since anyone can put anything on a page, there's no
way for us to know what we might be linking to.
As to the idea that a link to a page would be another point of contact,
anyone who would see that link on the LP website, would already be at
the spot to make contact. Having a link that takes them away from the
LP website doesn't seem particularly helpful.
Also, for the record, I'm not dead set against this idea, I just don't
want to see us open up an avenue that we may later regret.
