[Lnc-business] Seeking co-sponsors

I’m going to have to weight both sides on this one. For what it is worth, In the future it might be more prudent and fair to have the resolution focus on the sentiment than the condemnation.

Instead of calling out Northham by name and making him a center of debate in the motion, just condemning the basic idea.

So condemning bigotry and condemning bigotry among publicly elected officials who should be limited in power but be of a character to represent their diverse constituents in good faith.

This would still be seen clearly as addressing the issue and still be useful to refer back to for future situations.

Vice Chair of the Libertarian National Committee/LP

I became a member to fight for freedom and liberty for all, and to replace those politicans with Libertarians. Joining the mob against a racist governor is not productive of those ends. The mob may be correct in their scrutiny, but why must we join them like everybody else? To what purpose does this serve us?

I will not insult the intelligence of our members or potential members by supporting a feel good resolution designed to illict a purely emotional response.

Shall we reaffirm that the sun shines or that fish swim? I will not ask the DNC or GOP for any favors, I do not trust their words or affirmations and do not care for their feigned sympathy for minorities.

I care not what politicians think or say, only what they do. They have done enough, its time to take their seats.
