[Lnc-business] DRAFT MINUTES - January 6, 2019 Electronic Meeting, V1

Below are my comments on the 1/6/19 electronic meeting minutes.

Page 3, footnotes 2 and 3 indicate some late arrivals. My notes show Erin
Adams as also having arrived late. She was not found to be present when
the attendance was taken at the start of the meeting. I first noticed her
presence about 15 minutes into the meeting.

Page 12, regarding the phrase, “Dr. Lark raised a *POINT OF ORDER*
objecting to consideration of this amendment…” Dr. Lark raised a point of
order that he believed the motion to be out of order, but he was not making
the incidental motion “Objection to the Consideration of a Question”, which
is a very different incidental motion, and the choice of wording here may
cause confusion.

Then continuing the terminology, I’d suggest updating the next paragraph to
change, “Dr. Lark maintained his objection that…” to instead be “Dr. Lark
maintained his point of order that…” Similarly the first sentence of the
following paragraph, change, “Mr. Sarwark ruled the objection *NOT
WELL-TAKEN.*” to instead be, “Mr. Sarwark ruled the point of order not well
taken.”
