good pointers.

As Caryn Ann says, different styles work for different people. Finding 
what works for you sometimes takes a while; that's very normal.

A lot of fundraising is not getting discouraged when people say no. 
Every fundraiser here's "no thanks" or "not right now" a lot. I bet 
folks who have careers in sales will say they have similar experiences. 
Caryn Ann's advice that it is "just a matter of doing it a LOT and not 
giving up" is spot on.
