What I've have done is send a private message/email to the EPCC members,
sharing the concerns. This coupled with a suggestion that they respond
to all the applicants, inform them of the stages of progress, etc. All
can be done without any names of applicants being shared.

Because, it's the process that you're concerned with, and no need to
share names to inquire about the process.

No. But my duty isn't to have faith - I only give that to Jesus - my duty is to have facts, and this has been raised enough to me that it is my duty as an officer of this Party to find out. Simple as that. People expressed this to me for reassurance because they assumed I would have knowledge and they trust me when I say there is nothing to worry about. I cannot say that. And the reason people assumed I would have knowledge is because it is ABSOLUTELY ABSURD THAT THE OFFICERS OF THIS PARTY ARE NOT BEING INFORMED. Trust is a scarce resource since the last time there was an opaque negotation we ended up with the eternal secrecy provision. I stood alone then in opposing that, and if I have to do so again here, so be it. It is not at all appropriate that such a request from an officer is being ignored no matter
how much sugar and spice is lathered on top.

And some of these individuals may be in a position where they will no longer be interested in the position even if we determine them to be the best fit, because other opportunities arose for them while they were waiting for us to do something.
