Dear colleagues:

I hope all is well with you.  I am writing to mention a couple of
items concerning the upcoming LNC meeting.

1)  I should be able to remain at the meeting throughout the day on Sunday.

2)  I believe it would be worth our time during the meeting to discuss
briefly what we wish to do concerning the 2020 census.  As you may be
aware, the Libertarian Party has conducted projects involving the census
on several occasions.  I have enclosed below a few references concerning
such projects.  Incidentally, National Census Day will take place on
Wednesday, Apr. 1, 2020.

As you may also be aware, there is considerable controversy about
the proposed addition of a citizenship question to the 2020 census.  In
addition, there is another issue involving a decision by the U.S. Census
Bureau regarding protection of the confidentiality of the data released
from the census.  Information about this second issue is available at
http://science.sciencemag.org/content/363/6423/114?utm_campaign=wnews_sci_2019-01-10&et_rid=17517836&et_cid=2593188.

As always, thanks for your work for liberty.  I look forward to
seeing you next Saturday.

     Take care,
     Jim
