At our recent meeting, I sent a message to my younger son (Duke Van
Horn) as he was there, and at the hotel. My message was to bring me
something to drink. (We were out of water in our meeting room, and I
was getting overheated.) I got no reply, and no drink was delivered.
When my son came into the room, I asked about the drink and my message.
He reported that he didn't get a message. I wondered what happened. (I
was a bit irked.)
A short while later my son walks up and shows me his phone, so I could
read the text message on the screen. It said: "Mom is asking for
drinks but messaged me instead of you."
I'd sent my drink request to my older son, who of course, wasn't there.
This gives an indication of how confusing it can be in dealing with
messages, while in session at our meetings, and that's with my own
family! I can't imagine the mayhem that would ensue if I was also
getting messages from multiple people not at the meeting. *laughing*
