In response to Tim's question: this could take a lot of staff time. It
is difficult to predict because we don't know how many such debates
there might be. I am indeed concerned about staff time. Our workload is
going to increase by orders of magnitude on into 2020.
On a slightly different note, if the quality on any of the debates is
bad (bad quality audio, bad quality video, etc), guess who will get
blamed by a lot of folks: staff. Even if we make it clear that a given
debate was hosted by some other entity, LP staff will get blamed if the
execution is less than excellent. And then we'll get emails from folks
canceling their memberships etc because they think we are not running a
polished, quality operation.
