[Lnc-business] New Region 1 Alternate Elected

Attention Fellow LNC Members:

The election results of our final ballot are now available. In  addition to
this email, they may be found by following this link:

In order to be elected to position, the Regional Agreement indicates that a
majority (6) of state chairs must elect the individual. Applications for
the Region 1 Alternate
were accepted until March 16. We held several rounds of voting with the 4th
Round ending yesterday. Results are as follows:

10 State Voted, 1 State did not vote (Wyoming did not participate)
Johnny Adams received 6 votes
Drew A. Layda received 4 votes

This means that Johnny has been elected to fulfill the role as the
Alternate until the 2020 Convention in Austin. I am very confident in his
abilities to help me and you all advance our Region and offer him
congratulations. We will be touching base in the coming weeks so look for
future emails about some directions we may want to go.

I would be remiss if I did not mention what an outstanding candidate Drew
Layda was. His dedication to setting the world free should be applauded and
I am happy that he will continue his efforts on several committees and
projects he is currently engaged in, including the 2020 National Convention
Oversight Committee among other things.

Both candidates were very patient with the process as were all of you.
Thank you and I am happy to have an alternate who can help me engage with
the largest Region in the country!
