[Lnc-business] Looking for sponsors: Miami Meeting

I agree that costs are a concern. It's one of my main issues, that we
don't run-up costs for LP national.
I also will say that I did see Robert's mention of Miami, and I told
Marcos Miralles that the LNC might be coming to Miami for it's end of
year meeting, but not to quote me on that, as the LNC usually votes on
location. (I told Marcos in private message, and saying it here is just
my own words, so no privacy violation.) I also told my younger son.
I'm surprised no one else noticed Robert's comment until now.
As for locations: The first LNC meeting I went to was in Colorado. I
assume that was voted on and decided, before I was on the LNC. Since
then, the LNC also went to Arizona, and we did vote. We're going to
Austin, and we voted on that location. So, plenty of western locations.
We haven't been to the west "coast", so sure, I'd consider Riverside
CA, although not actually on the coast, it's close. haha
But, I'm strongly favoring Florida. Nick Sarwark picked it, and even
though we should vote to decide, I like his instincts on the pick. I
also think Lauren's ideas about fundraising there are good. Florida is
also a state affiliate that has had good success with getting LP
candidates and appointees into office. I think that's positive, and
having a meeting in FL would be good for connecting with a state
affiliate that works hard.
(Note: None of these locations are convenient to me, and I'd like to
see in our next round of LNC meeting voting to consider a MidWestern
location. Indianapolis, Chicago, Louisville, Cincinnati, and/or another
MidWest location.)
Cheers All,
EVH
