On this motion: I vote No.

I wasn't aware of the tweet, until an LP member brought it to my
attention on Wednesday. I agree the tweet is bad optics.
I'd recommend that we consult with our ED, and work together to
understand how best to avoid this type of situation in the future.
Trying to delete the tweet after the fact, could reignite the
controversy.
This brings us to the real issue, that those who're upset, are mostly LP
members and supporters.
The people we're trying to attract to the LP, aren't even the ones
paying attention.
I think that efforts should be focused on overall social media strategy,
and ways to attract new people to the LP.
