I would not have sponsored this email if something IN MY OPINION did not
concern me in the APRC discussion. Almost none seem to have a slightest
care. Despite my own joking, I don’t make motions and rub my hands in
delight at an email ballot for fun.

But of course I can’t tell you.

Are you guys okay with this ridiculous state of affairs that is protecting
no candidate?

I’m not. There are a lot of things going on right now that you (as a
group) should not be happy with.

I’ll start new threads - though honestly the constant blind trust in a
chair or committees makes me convinced it’s wasted air.

This isn’t about Nick. I’ve said a billion times he’s the best chair this
party ever had - it’s the principle and the precedent. There are
functionally no officers in this party but the chair, and that is a recipe
for abuse. My two fellow officers might be okay with that. It seems the
rest of the LNC is. I’m not.

And I want to know that the next LNC will be far more balanced because Nick
is not going to be chair for life. If Nick disappeared tomorrow is Alex
being prepared to seamlessly step in? No. And Tim and I know even less.

Something has subtly changed institutionally and it’s unhealthy in its lack
of checks and balances.

I’m going to do what I need to to be able to competently tell members that
things are being ran well.

Mr. Fishman, I’d like to make a phone appointment with you at your
convenience.
