[Lnc-business] Proposed

Dan Fishman making a suggestion, isn't anything like your situation.
But, since you brought up your situation from last year, let's correct
your recap:

You accused Dan Fishman of "blindsiding", not notifying the LNC before
making a suggestion (just an idea), and of not consulting officers.

Yet, your deal was one you struck with the former ED. You didn't get
approval from the LNC. It wasn't even discussed by the LNC, until after
you were already getting reimbursed for travel that none of the LNC knew
about. Nor, did you notify the officers. When your deal, was brought to
the attention of the board, the others on the LNC weren't aware of it.
No one on the LNC accused you of 'bribing with T-shirts".

You said that your deal was in your regional report. Which, was a
length tome which few read. You placed the blame on the LNC for not
being aware, but you didn't bring it the attention of the LNC. Imagine
the histrionics, if Dan Fishman and Nick posted about a deal, in a LNC
report, and it was already a done deal, and that's the first you heard
about. Yet, that scenario is what you did.

What you were doing is getting to travel with reimbursement, to
conventions. In the same year that you were declaring for a national
officer position. Having LP national pay your way to visit conventions
was wrong.

Also, the ED didn't know that you'd gone to conventions in your own
region, and when others on the LNC, who were paying out-pocket to attend
conventions in their regions discovered this, they were surprised.
Also, others on the LNC weren't happy to find out that they were paying
out-of-pocket to attend conventions in their own regions, and you were
attempting to get reimbursed for the same.

When replying to my protest of your actions you said that you didn't
break any rules. (As if that's the criteria for not doing wrong.)

This is all in the LNC email archives.
