I vote: no
Although I’ll personally condemn some of behavior exhibited by the evidence provided and stories I’ve heard from those harassed. I do find the kind of treatment of others evidenced to be cruel and not up to what I hope to expect from membership.
On a procedural note I do advise not to rush motions for sponsorship without at least soliciting the list for feedback, it’ll make passing a motion easier if troublesome or tricky language could be avoided through collaboration.
The potential problem of defamation that Joe brought up is a good example. I’ll generally vote no to any rushed motions as to discourage rushing and encourage collaboration.
