I had inquired about a joint membership plan prior. Then a new idea
was suggested by an LPIN member, and I recently inquired on behalf of a
plan LPIN might do. With LPIN gathering national memberships, and some
of the funds (after the $25 needed for national) to be retained by LPIN,
the remaining sent to national for a person's membership. Robert Kraus
had explained to me that a state affiliate needs to be an FEC filer.
(Which LPIN is). I was unaware that there was already something along
these lines being implemented.
So, yes, I think that LPIN and other state affiliates within Region 3
would be interested. (If FEC filers)

I discussed this in the Membership Directors meeting, and described essentially the webpage listed above. There was some interest among the participants.
