I apologize I hit send by fat thumb before a concluding statement.
I will get this out here since Mr Craig has seen fit to slander me. The
auto-approval procedure is not a deadline to produce minutes. It is a
deadline to take advantage of auto-approval. Any suggestion that I do not
produce minutes timely is gross. I spend at least 40 hours in preparing
then. I will stand by my position any day that MOST people do not have an
extra forty hours in the three weeks following a meeting. Ms Mattson did
and I have nothing but abject respect to her but that is unusual and is not
necessary.
We are all highly competent individuals. The delegates chose us. It is an
insult to them to try to prove otherwise. Competent isn’t perfection.
There is absolutely no one who can say with a straight face that they
suffered some harm due to an extra week past auto approval. The only place
such pettiness belongs is in the Rs and Ds. Not here.
I sure hope that isn’t a sign of grossness to come next convention. Be
that as it may, I will never denigrate Ms. Mattson’s utter competence at
the highest levels.
