According to LP Colorado’s website, they had a convention in April. It
says on Sunday, April 28th, 2019, National Platform Committee and
Alternates were elected.
I was told that Ms. Harlos and Mr. Seebeck were both selected as
alternates for Colorado to the National Platform Committee. May I get
clarification on this?
(Prior to our meeting I had emailed Alicia Mattson asking for
clarification of LP CA Platform appointments. Ms. Mattson acknowledged
that Mr. Aaron Starr was selected for the Platform Committee, and she as
the alternate. I explained that I do not plan to vote for anyone who
already has an appointment through their state. To his credit, Mr Starr
decided to withdraw from consideration for the LP National Platform
Committee appointments. This is also why I asked yesterday about states
that have already made appointments. As I do not want to select the same
people for our 5 highly sought after LNC Platform spots, as have already
been appointed by states. I’d like to give other people an opportunity
to obtain a Platform appointment.)
I’ll wait for clarification on Colorado. Please let me know as I wish to
make a fully informed voting decision.
Thank you,
EVH
