I encourage this current Bylaws committee to take a look at this
situation and the one with the person from VA to see if the delegates
wish to grant the LNC this kind of power. Until then we do not have it,
and if this motion does get enough co-sponsors I will object as being
contrary to our bylaws.
I am no fan of those who would dare to exploit children. But "do it
for the children" has been the paving stones to hell for a long long
time as an excuse to expand power. We do not have this power.

It is certainly a motion that could easily draw a judicial committee review if some member was motivated enough to check the power of the LNC.
