[Lnc-business] Deceitful FEC Filings

We have become aware of FEC Form 1, Statement of Organization, filings
with the FEC in December and this month calling themselves "Libertarian
National Committee", "Libertarian Party of United States", and
"Libertarian Party National Committee". None of these are affiliated
with nor authorized by the Libertarian National Committee. 

While at first I thought that incompetence was a slight possibility,
fraud or election tampering is likely. In consultation with Ms. Edwards
and Mr. Hall, we have filed Forms 99, Miscellaneous Document, with the
FEC explaining the LNC is not affiliated with these organizations and
requesting the FEC terminate the committees. We sent cease and desist
letters to the persons listed in the Statements of Organization, and
also notified the bank listed in the forms. 

If you hear of suspicious fundraising, or fundraising in the name of the
LNC or Libertarian Party that does not go to a state affiliate,
www.LP.org, www.libertarianconvention.org, 1444 Duke Street, or an LNC
member or staff, please let me or Mr. Fishman know. Also note that the
LNC will never ask for cryptocurrency be transferred to a wallet. All
Bitcoin donations are processed through BitPay in accordance with FEC
regulations.
