[Lnc-business] Conflict of interest

I ask everyone to really consider their biases and conflicts of interest
before making a decision tomorrow. Anyone who is running for an internal
position or has a strong position concerning who should win internal races
is inherently compromised in this decision. Put all that aside.

If I were to vote solely based on my self-interest I would go for a virtual
convention. I have spent my time on social media and in social circles and
my chances are MUCH better in any race at a virtual convention because I
know most of those folks. But I will not vote based on my self-interest
but based upon arguments.

I ask everyone to really examine their motives and interests and put all
that aside for the good of the Party.

* Personal Note: I have what is commonly known as Asperger's Syndrome
(part of the autism spectrum). This can affect inter-personal
communication skills in both personal and electronic arenas. If anyone
found anything offensive or overly off-putting (or some other social faux
pas) in an actual email, please contact me privately and let me know. *
