[Lnc-business] A Sunday Morning Thought for the members of the Libertarian National Committee to consider

This sounds just like what the Democrats and Republicans say when a member
of the House Liberty Caucus objects to legislation which they believe
tramples people's rights. They are called obstructionists. They are
accused of wanting to harm children and grandma. Ron Paul earned the
nickname Dr. No. It's ironic for the LP leadership to be the ones now
doing it.

I want us to do it clean, without an asterisk. I think it is better for
the party to have our nominee protected from legal challenges even if it
means the campaign season is shorter. Just closing our eyes and pretending
the risks aren't there doesn't prevent those challenges from coming. When
you were a public defender, I'm sure you felt it was your duty to tell your
clients the risks of various options they had. I believe I am doing my
duty to this organization as well.
