[Lnc-business] Nomination forms for President and Vice President

I had already indicated that I was comfortable signing them if the LNC
bifurcated the convention which I believe is in accordance with our
bylaws.  I do not appreciate your belittling of my position by the use of
scare quotes.

However I’m also aware that the objectionable language is not required so I
think your attempt to force the issue by using the exact same forms is
dishonorable.

If the physical convention is canceled by some act this weekend then my
position may change and I have secured the agreement of counsel to
represent me in modifying the forms to be in accordance with state laws in
those states and truthful.
