I am really trying to give everyone the benefit of the doubt this week as much as I can but at this point my optimism and hope for a reconciliatory conclusion to this saga requires caution so it seems prudent to work out a contingency motion to avoid possible setbacks to getting back to focusing on getting the parties business done at convention.

For the record I want broad participation and am a proponent of online participation but to get this done we need bridges built not just to make it technically feasibly but to get the motions passed to enable it at convention.

So anyone serious about enabling participation of delegates in the parties business should be working to build bridges right now in the party not burn them. I hope that’s what we can work towards.
