I have the precise language stated by Mr. Hall within the past week or so:

I also think Ms. Mattson's comments correctly characterize my role in this
process. It is not my job to decide whether the contract is wise, but only
to advise the LNC so that members can make a fully informed decision as to
whether they wish to enter into the contract, knowing the risks.

We made a fully informed decision. We were advised of one risk and told
him that we accepted that. It was an appearance risk, not even a legal
risk. Mr. Hall has zero business in our internal cancellation voting
process.

(part of the autism spectrum). This can affect inter-personal
communication skills in both personal and electronic arenas. If anyone
found anything offensive or overly off-putting (or some other social faux
pas) in an actual email, please contact me privately and let me know. *
