[Lnc-business] Announcement of Vacancy Filled on Convention Oversight Committee

Dear All,

With the removal of Mr. Hayes from the Convention Oversight Committee,
there is a vacancy that is to be filled by the Chair.

I requested that the new Chair of the Convention Oversight Committee
provide their recommendation to me to fill the vacancy following their
weekly meeting last night. It is my understanding that the majority of the
Convention Oversight Committee chose not to make any recommendation.

In absence of a recommendation from the Convention Oversight Committee, I
am appointing former LNC Chair, elected Libertarian, and Floridian, Jim
Turney to fill the vacant position on the Convention Oversight Committee.
Jim works well with others, has organized many successful conventions, and
lives just down the road from Orlando.

Please join me in welcoming Mr. Turney to the Convention Oversight
Committee.
