[Lnc-business] Announcement of Vacancy Filled on Convention Oversight Committee

As much as I like and respect Jim Turney, the Chair has no authority to
make a unilateral appointment to the COC. The COC clearly indicated to
our Chair last night that we were postponing any possible vacancy
appointment until the LNC determines if there actually is a vacancy with
the current pending motion to overturn the ruling of the chair.

It is very unfortunate that the Chair did not advise Mr. Turney that his
appointment might be controversial, he was certainly taken aback when I
communicated with him today.

I wish the Chair would just stop playing stupid power games and let us
get on with the planning of the convention. He has already stated that
he will not do his duty by presiding so he should just abdicate any
other responsibilities and let those who care dearly about this party
proceed as planned.
