Since I'm not on the LNC, I would ask that you again forward this to the
LNC:
As an important reminder: this video is covered under executive session.
By default, sharing it outside of those who were in the room is
forbidden under RONR. However, the LNC Policy Manual specifically
overrides this provision under Section 2.07(5), under which the
information may be released to any LNC member or any member of the Audit
Committee, though that does not remove the "executive session"
privileges from it.
In recent months, there's been a problem with information finding its
way outside the organization that should not have, generally to score
internal political points. Therefore, I'm watermarking a copy of each
video in a unique set of ways to ensure that any violation of executive
sessions can be sourced. From there, the LNC can decide to take action,
or not, if the information is shared outside of those authorized by RONR
and the Policy Manual.
Therefore, I am currently uploading a uniquely-watermarked version of
the video in question, and will provide a link to that video to the
chair when that video is completed. The current ETA on completion is
just over 3 hours (7:30PM-ish) - though I have several appointments this
evening, so this may be slightly delayed.
I have also seen the requests from Joe Bishop-Henchman and Dustin Nanna,
and I am preparing uniquely-watermarked versions of the video for each
of them.
I will again reiterate that I believe this whole thing is petty. The
potential "issue" will be resolved in less than 16 days, and this is
really about scoring internal political points. I should have been
finishing up critical infrastructure for the Jo campaign today. Instead,
I did this.
For now, I'm heading back to building servers for the Jo campaign --
very slowly, since the upload is eating all of my uplink bandwidth.
