[Lnc-business] And, we're really going to hold an in person convention there in 16 days?

Here in Key West, we have had hundreds of thousands of tourists through our community over the past month since the Keys reopened on June 1st. Cases are up, but not the tsunami many were forecasting. Two bars recently closed temporarily due to an employee testing positive for Covid, those businesses will be reopened next week. The economic impact has been far worse than any impact by Covid. This is my personal experience, I understand that Orlando is open and experiencing tourism. I don’t think we will experience an armageddon of cases, we just need to be careful and follow protocol for safe social distancing, mask use, hand sanitizing, etc to the best of our abilities. Beyond that it boils down to personal choice.

Sincerely,

Steven Nekhaila
Region 2 Representative
