[Lnc-business] Orlando in-person convention

I will join in voting to cancel. 4 of the 8 states/chairs in Region 8
have stated to me they would like to cancel. 1 is against cancellation,
the other 3 don't have an official opinion. I would note that this is a
large reversal in the past week, before which there was little interest
among any of the states for a full cancellation.
There are several issues here including further cancellation potential
by the venue or the state, but I have failed to see much commentary on
what I think is most important - the voting of our delegates. Due to how
we adjourned, the reality is that in order for delegates to ensure their
ability to participate, they must be physically present. This wouldn't
normally be very revolutionary, but as we are all aware we are not
living in 'normal' times. Given the surge in cases both in Florida and
Orange County, I believe it would be irresponsible for this body to
uphold this predicament of choosing between health and voting rights.
I support an online convention during the same range, with the agenda
set partially by our technical ability. I am not familiar enough with
the proposed program to make any judgment on its capabilities at this
moment.
