<p dir="ltr">It would still be exclusionary, not only to small parties, but to independents. The public may respond to being shown that it would forbid Nader from an appointment. </p>
<p dir="ltr">By the way, now that I think of it, maybe one way we can take advantage of our location is advocating for appointments for our members. I believe a former LNC member was considered for heading the FDA. I was considered briefly for economic advisor to the Banking subcommittee in the house after being recommended by a past chief of staff for the subcommittee chair. </p>
<p dir="ltr">These would be ways to get our members into offices, and to help them gain experience and credibility for elective office. </p>
