leadership of the LP of Nevada has never endorsed a Republican for public
office. They gave letter grades to Republicans in some races, but they

Libertarian Party is not to make our members feel good about themselves by
finally “hitting an all-time high record” for a vote percentage for

Nevada had a really high-profile person who wanted to run against Harry
Reid. Do you think the Libertarian Party of Nevada would be better off if
that person managed to keep Harry Reid in office for yet another term by having
exit polls show that the LPN nominee did actually steal enuf votes from the
Republican nominee to keep the Republican from winning, or would the LPN be
better off if that same high-profile person ran for, and won, a seat on the
Clark County Commission?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 color=black face=Verdana><span
style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Verdana'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 color=black face=Verdana><span

of Power” could very well inspire the Republicans in <st1:State w:st="on">Nevada</st1:State>
to pass legislation to make ballot access worse, and the LPN would have nothing
to show for that election except a bunch of news stories that will poison the
LP name in <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Nevada</st1:place></st1:State>
for years to come. You might try to counter that by saying that the
Democrat Party would love us, but do you really think that ANY of that love would
be demonstrated by showing up in actual legislation, or by having the Democrats
appoint a Libertarian to a high level position?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Vegas</st1:place></st1:City>, which would set that person up to run for State

egos by getting them to run for offices that they know they won’t have to
serve in. That is because it is fun to show up at editorial board
meetings or to rallies with 30 Libertarians in the audience and pontificate.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Verdana'><br>
It is a lot more difficult to get Libertarians to run for offices that they
might actually win, because that means they actually have to spend the next 4
years trying to convince their non-Libertarian colleagues to change their minds
and vote in a libertarian fashion.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Pojunis only to the extent that I think he is a little overly-optimistic about the
ease of winning State Assembly seats. But - I agree with Brett 100% that “</span></font><font

not in a position to win a US Senate seat nor Congressional seat at this time.”
