My flight is scheduled to arrive at 1:05 pm on Friday. I'd be happy to share a shuttle or whatever with anyone who is arriving around then. Sky Train is free. Look for a train that is heading towards 44th
Street. Take that train to the 44th Street/Washington station.

3. After you get to that station, take the pedestrian bridge to the Valley Metro Rail station (44th St./ Washington station).

4. Find the ticket vending machine. Purchase an "All-Day Pass" for $4. Having 4 one-dollar bills will help.

5. Board a train that says "Mesa Drive" or "Sycamore". Get off at the very next stop ("Priest Drive").

6. Find the bus platforms. Look for Route 56. Get on a bus heading towards "Ray and 46th" (might be "Ray and 48th")

Schedule: http://routes.valleymetro.org/timetables/transit_route/615?type=2

7.
In about 13 minutes you will see a large mall on the right hand side of
the road (Arizona Mills). When the bus reaches about the "3/4 mark" of
that mall, make a stop request.

8. Get off at the stop that is
about 20 feet past Baseline Road. Walk back to Baseline Road, and turn
left. You are only about a half mile from the hotel at this point.

9.
Walk under the overpass for the Interstate. You should start seeing
the Arizona Grand Resort on your left. Make a left onto the main
driveway, and go to the left when you get to the "traffic circle." The
lobby is maybe 500 feet down that driveway (technically it is Arizona
Grand Parkway).

On your way back to the airport you might have to
buy your All Day Pass on the bus, which costs an extra $2. Also, the
bus stop on Priest Drive for Northbound buses is probably not exactly
across the street from the stop you used on Friday, but I am sure you
can find it. The light rail train should say "Montebello".
