<div>Well, since it's all out of order anyway, I'll just say this and be done.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The time to take this or any other action to effect who our nominees are was between January and May of this year, and the next opportunity is between December and Convention '18. At this time, it's just not reasonable to take action. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>I have heard the calls from others; the disgruntled voices at our ticket's deviation from our platform. Certainly, I understand - I myself cringe every time one particular items is mentioned. But we're too far down the road to change anything. Everything is as it is, and will be for the next 53 days or so.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Interestingly, most of the complaints do come from people who have either previously announced publicly their intention to not be involved with the LP, or who I know have not been actively involved in the LP. I would remind all of those people that sitting on the sidelines and asking others to do things for you is not very libertarian at all. If you want something, you have to get up and make it happen. <div>The motion to suspend must come in a meeting. That could be a teleconference, video conference or physical meeting. Email does not suffice as a meeting. As it would be a special meeting the purpose of the meeting would have to be in the call of the meeting. The call for the Sept. 25th meeting did not include this purpose so that could not be brought up then.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>What would need to be done would be get 5 other sponsors for the meeting for the purpose to suspend Johnson and Weld. I also think that it would need to be a divided question. The nominees were elected at convention separately and the matter to suspend should be voted on separately.</div>
