Marsh, Vohra</p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal">Then Daniel Hayes said we should wait until we get some clarity on the laws, so people held off.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal">There was MOTION 2:</p><br><div style="margin-left:40px">I move an email ballot to have the LNC contribute $5,000 directly to the Mark Miller for Railroad Commissioner campaign in Texas with the proviso that it is legal for the LNC to do this.</div><div><br></div><div>This motion was co-sponsored by Hayes, Harlos, and Bittner. Goldstein said he was willing to co-sponsor something but thought the motion should specify a budget line, so that seemed to be wanting a different motion. Then the maker of the motion, Daniel Hayes, suggested perhaps we ditch both motions and donate $20k directly to the campaign.<br><br></div><div>If we have clarity on the legal environment, there is a pool of people here (including myself) who are ready to co-sponsor something.<br><br></div><div>The clock is ticking towards election day.<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br><br></font></span></div><span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><div>-Alicia<br><br></div></font></span></div>
