It will only discourage those who aren't really ready to be Libertarians yet. We don't <i>want</i> officeholders to switch to the LP if they're going to vote like typical members of the 2-party cartel after switching! That harms us more than it helps us. </div><div><br></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Few if any folks outside the party will likely know or care whether John Moore is technically a member of the <i>national</i> LP or not. To the public, he is a Libertarian.
