<p dir="auto">I’m a strong proponent of the Oxford comma. However, I’m curious how the intent of the following sentence could be misinterpreted, <em>The canning, processing, preserving, freezing, drying, marketing, storing, packing for shipment or distribution of: (1) Agricultural produce; (2) Meat and fish products; and (3) Perishable foods.</em></p>
<p dir="auto">The only way that <em>packing for shipment</em> and <em>distribution of</em> can be combined is to insert an <em>or</em> between <em>storing,</em> and <em>packing</em>.</p>
