    <p>I was discussing this with staff just now, about the timing being
      a few days after Memorial Day, and how people will wonder why they
      receive this. Obviously this would have been better to send on or
      before Memorial Day but it wasn't passed yet.<br>
    </p>
    <p>So, on second thought, staff's current plan is to post this as a
      blog entry, and then link to it in a compilation email next week.
      <br>
    </p>
    <p>That's our plan, but if all of you clearly think something
      different should happen, or if the chair directs us otherwise,
      we'd certainly send this out as an email to membership and as a
      press release. <br>
    </p>
