Please take three minutes to read this excellent column. In my opinion, for this to be accomplished, the voting system will need to be changed from the Single Member Plurality rules now in effect. It's not ballot access, or campaign finance rules, or anything else that relegates the LP and other minor parties to their second class status in the United States.
