LPHQ gets a lot of questions about who our Presidential Candidates are.

<br>
I have told people that we have no official list, but that the FEC has a
<br>
list of all candidates who have filed a statement of Candidacy (FEC Form 2)

https://www.fec.gov/data/candidates/president/?election_year=2020&cycle=2020&election_full=true&party=LIB

We have a larger list of people who have contacted LPHQ and said they
<br>
intend to run for President and then Bob Johnston walks them through the
<br>
process. Most of those candidates never file.
<br>
<br>
As the number of requests heat up I'm requesting guidance from the LNC as
<br>
to what the official LPHQ response should be. Should we continue to refer
<br>
people to the FEC list? Would you prefer I keep a local list of everyone
<br>
who contacts us and declares they are running?
<br>
<br>
Awaiting your thoughts
