<div dir='auto'>Bill we already have a bit of discussion on this going in the other thread. Several members, including myself, have expressed similar thoughts to yours. Tho we have some other options for bylaws and platform.<div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">We need the chair to express his intention on the 24 hour notice vote so we can call a meeting and get this done.<br><br><div data-smartmail="gmail_signature" dir="auto">John Phillips<br>Libertarian National Committee Region 6 Representative<br>Cell 217-412-5973</div></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Jun 30, 2020 11:43 AM, William Redpath via Lnc-business <lnc-business@hq.lp.org> wrote:<br type="attribution" /><blockquote class="quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><p dir="ltr">I think the in-person convention in Orlando should be cancelled and am

up on this list.

At the very least, another poll regarding attendees should be taken,
<br>
because I surmise plans of many people are changing.
<br>
<br>
In the previous poll, Julie Fox voted that she was likely to attend, but
<br>
she just told me that she is now not going.
<br>
<br>
I previously voted that I was sure to attend. If I were to vote today
<br>
in a poll, I would vote "unlikely to attend" due to my work travel
<br>
schedule and quarantine issues after leaving Florida on July 12. I have
<br>
not decided for sure.
<br>
<br>
I think the actual attendance numbers will be far lower than stated in
<br>
the poll that was taken.
<br>
<br>
I hope to participate online, but that will be dependent on a two-thirds
<br>
vote of the delegates in attendance. While I have been told that remote
<br>
participation for the convention will likely pass, I don't think any LP
<br>
delegate should be put in the position of having to go to Orlando or be
<br>
dependent on that vote to participate in the convention.
<br>
<br>
It would be far better to have a second online convention for LNC
<br>
officers, LNC At-Large and Judicial Committee and not address Bylaws or
<br>
Platform until the May 2022 convention in Reno.
