[Lnc-business] Parliamentary question - How many cosponsors are needed for an email motion?

LNC,

I think that 4 people for a mail ballot is acceptable. If someone is
unable to recruit 3 additional people to support (co-sponsor) a motion,
chances are it will not pass anyway. This also ensures that motions we are
actually voting on merit having a vote.

Getting a motion passed is tough when you have a board of 18 people. This
forces each individual to speak/work with other members of the board, talk
through it and develop a motion that has a high likelihood of passing.

Best,
