Mr. DiBianca:

 

I note that as of right now there is only one elected Libertarian in Travis
County.


I also note that there are a zillion special districts in Travis County:

I was not able to find the election dates for the above districts, which
**suggests** that at least some of them are

non-competitive.  I also understand that some of these slots might not be up
for election next month.

 

Are there any plans to try to match LP of Travis County members with these
special districts so that your former county can add some elected
Libertarians to the list at   http://www.lp.org/candidates/elected-officials
?

 

I am not singling out Travis County.  I am just suggesting that many LP
affiliates, including my own, could probably elect one or two additional
Libertarians to public office by December 2016 if they choose the correct
low-level races to run in.

AUSTIN - The Libertarian Party will have 37 nominees on the ballot in Travis
County, Texas for the November 2014 elections.

That's a record for the Travis County Libertarian Party (TCLP).

"Not only is it a record for us, but we believe it's the most Libertarians
you'll see on any county's ballot in America this year," said Arthur
DiBianca, TCLP treasurer.
