Instead of promises that don't mean anything in the real world, I would much
rather see potential 2015 and 2016
Libertarian candidates pledge to only run for offices that:

a. Retain ballot status, and promise to work their butts off to make
sure that they pass the vote test

OR

b. Are winnable, and that they will do everything in their power to win
those elections, while promising to have a
campaign platform that, overall, increases liberty by at least a little bit.

A candidate who wins their election for City Council and actually reduces a
local, add-on sales tax from 1% to 0.75% does a lot more for liberty than a
candidate who promises to eliminate the state income tax but ends up getting
3% of the vote for State House.

When it comes to how much liberty they advocate for, I would much rather see
a candidate under promise during the campaign, and then over deliver after
they get elected.

Hi all - if there are candidates who are running and have pledged to sponsor
legislation to downsize or dismantle some major part of government, please
have them send quotes/images to me, and cc APRC at hq.lp.org. They will be
posted on facebook, twitter, etc., same as last time.

We've scared the big government parties a bit. Let's keep relentlessly
pushing for big cuts!
