So the obvious question for Bill Redpath is: Does he anticipate any other
ballot access efforts during the rest of the year?

It's plausible to me that our expenses might be front-loaded, as we try to
get Libertarian candidates on the primary and general election ballots for
2014 in the hope that they'll achieve a high-enough vote percentage to give
us ballot access in 2016. If it's a question of spending the money now
versus even more money in 2016, "now" can make sense. Our cash flow may
not match the full-year budget, but perhaps it's worth stretching ourselves
thin because that's the only way to deal with the petitioning calendars in
various states.

On the other hand, if we're just going to keep being hit up with more
"opportunities" during the rest of the year which bust our budget, then
this is the time to say "stop." Our resources are extremely limited, and
we have to set financial priorities. No matter how valuable something may
be, we may have to forgo it if the funds just aren't there and we can't
reasonably expect them to come in soon enough.
